‘I Will Always Be There For You’ sung by Linny and written by Asher Halle is a powerful and captivating song about a woman who meets a guy at a party and discovers he just ended a previous relationship, they get to know each other and overtime she tells him that she’ll “always be there” for him.
“My love you’re my life – I’ll always be there for you- and just like the air I breathe- I can’t live without you,”
“Rainbow man” – 1977, and the song was composed as a rock song – with an “element” of blues. We wanted to create real excitement on the track when we recorded it.
So, when we went into the studio to lay the track down, we decided after a few practice “run throughs” to record the entire track “live” with everybody – singer, musicians and drums all on one track – and one “take”- to energise and “capture the feel” – and that was to “rock” the joint” with a “live” sound. So, we went for it – and with “flashback” on vocals – the musicians – featuring Robin Rankin on keyboards laying down a rockin’ groove – plus an amazing “dig” on mouth organ from Fraser Speirs – all “live” – WOW! We just about nailed it!

‘Games Lovers Play’ is a song about a man that gave heartache and never understood why without any warning expressed throughout the song from a womans point of view and the intro starts of:-

‘Waiting On The Subway’ sang and written by Asher Halle is about a beautiful encounter with a woman at the subway station, only to go back there time and time again and hoping to meet her at the subway, but will he ever bump into her again?
